//FR: Au moment de réaliser ce film, j’avais 19 ans et j’étais un cégepien prometteur en Sciences Pures. Le tout a été réalisé en 3 semaines, prequ’uniquement avec une Canon S110. Je venais de quitter la maison familiale et je découvrais le plaisir de pouvoir librement rester éveiller des nuits entières pour jouer avec des caméras, mon ordinateur et des bonbons.
Le vidéo en est fait 3 fois plus long, mais la majeure partie a été censurée, à part pour mes chums et la foule à moitié gelée du party étudiant où a eu lieu la première.
Si ce vidéo n’avait pas gagné un obscur concours de vidéos amateurs, je serais peut-être un physicien, un médecin ou un pompiste alcoolique, maintenant.
//EN: When I did this film, I was 19 and I was a young Pure Science college student full of promises. Everything was done in 3 weeks, almost only with a Canon S110. I just had left my family’s house and I was discovering the pleasure of being free to spend sleepless nights playing with cameras, my computer and candies.
The video is really 3 times longer, but most of it was censored, except for my friends and the half-stoned crowd of the student party where the premiere happened.
If this video would not have won an obscur filmmaking contest, maybe I would now be a physicist, a doctor or an alcoholic gas pump jockey.
